Very bittersweet to have
completed Mononoke. I was rather hanging onto the fact that, whilst the last episode was finished, there was still the high definition to watch, but it all ended up being released yesterday. (See final release post
here.) It was a brilliant project, although the odd drama threatened to swamp it. I was just so excited

Yeah, I watched it! Twice (once with subs, once without) and posted a tl;dr entry about it here (that was almost a week ago and I didn't know yet that the ridiculous names are code names). To sum it up: I loved it! But I expected that since I can't think of much that can go wrong when Yun Kouga designs for a SF series...

Its group is still sitting there, there's just nothing to do anymore. ;_; I miss the Medicine Seller already.
Good last episode, at least. Didn't wrap anything up, made about as much sense as the rest of it did, but it was satisfying nonetheless, I thought.

I just bought the Bakeneko DVD so that's my fix for a while. I tried to dub briefly. There is just no competing with Sakurai Takahiro - it's not possible.
