in regards to space programs

Why don't you just go live somewhere weird? You don't need the moon or mars to live in the middle of nowhere.

And the moon's almost entirely barren. They're trying to think of ways to make use of the moon rock and dust (mainly to turn parts of it into water or fuel, which would at least make a moon base viable), but they haven't found an efficient or worthwhile process yet.

i don't know if it's the desire for isolation, as much as it is wanting to go somewhere no one has really been and explore or create things, or something. almost as if i'm a settler starting a new civilization.

well, i'm excited when we find some sort of use for those things, and we get to have battles over the moon. space battles. it's about god damn time we had more space battles in our lives.

I agree about the space battles!

But are you sure it isn't just isolation? I mean, you can bring paper, pens, and guitars pretty much everywhere, and that seems to be like, your main thing. Along with pornography and video games.
