Firmin. By Sam Savage. It made me smile and made me cry. In the subway. And people gave me those old funny looks but I didn't care at all cause I was Firmin and Firmin was me. Such a shame! It's on our best-selling lists in main bookstores here, big recommendation now from booksellers. Interesting how different markets work.

If I ever come across one nice copy in English I can send over, you'll know about it ;)

It sounds like a wonderful book, so im really going to do my best to get it. But it won't be easy. Nothing in the library, nothing at the biggest bookstore in my hometown. Maybe I have a chance tomorrow at the American Bookstore in Amsterdam, and if that doesn't work...the i-net. But ordering by i-net is not really kinky. I love to get stuff myself. The more difficult the better.

I also prefer to get the thing from a real shop, so I can peak inside and see how big it is...
... however, online gift buying is fun too! ;)

Sure! We'd just have to meet for that and I've been neglecting my Greek classes so often lately that it's gonna be difficult! XD
