Feel free to. So long as they behave and observe quietly, I do not see why anybody would not be allowed to attend.

I, for one, would love to know more about knot tying. I am certain the data will be useful. If possible, may I sit with the youngest of our campers while you teach them?

You are welcome to it. If you catch on quickly, feel free to assist the others as well, as group learning is the more effective.

I will catch on quickly. There is a 99.98% chance that I will get to advanced knot tying before anyone else.

Wonderful. I will hold you to it. Children learn best with a role model to look up to.

The lessons were not my idea, but it is true that skill in tying knots is good to have for a multitude of situations.

Yes. But do not let that deter you from the many other utilities of this class of knot.

...What other utilities are there?

It can be used to catch things, or pull up something dropped a distance below. Knowledge is critical even without application.

The noose? Saa, I shall bring the teddy bears.

Ah, a practical application. We will do well together.

It would hardly be any good if the children could not practice.

[ooc: how concerning is it that the link between nooses and teddy bears needed no explanation?]

We would be doing them a disservice, sending them out in the world with inadequate knots.
The survivors will be treated to fishing knot lessons over the weekend.

((ooc: Haha. What else does one do with teddy bears?))
