So like, FEMA totally took over the phone lines, so not sure how well a call would work. The cell phone service is slowly getting back up. Apparently my friend was trying to call me all day today and she didn't manage to get through until about an hour ago. So...yeah, feel free to call any time. I've gotten so fed up with being told the phone lines are currently tied up.

We got Ike's aftermath clear up here in Ohio, actually. Wind speeds were high enough to be considered a Cat1 hurricane, but there was none of the other crap to go with it. (More about that in my own journal, though. >.<)

I'm SOOOOOO glad you're (physically) okay! *hugglesnuggleloffs some more* Jeebus. <3 Just remember, if you can get the phone to workin', mine's always on if ya need someone to talk to.

I finally got to turn on the news and they're trying to return back to normal and I saw that! That's insane!

Thanks Jinxie! Love you too. As far as the phones, like I told Inki, trying to get a call out is insane at times. I've given up mostly until things are back to normal, but I will definitely keep you in mind if I find myself dying of boredom.

I'm very glad that you and your family are safe! I'm terribly sorry to hear about your house and the bodies and all the chaotic marlarkey that seems like the Apocalypse has just swept through.
