Calories.

Sorry if that's a taboo or painful subject, but I got this 'health mailer' yesterday and on the back it has a list of drinks and calories. One that sticks out is 8 oz or ornage juice with 120 and cola with 146. Yeah... well, orange juice also has natural sugars, too. You make some very good points. But we're American's! We want our instant grat, instant fat and instant weightloss! :) I also think it's a message of 'if you're overweight, some foods have more calories than you might think.' and I do have to admit, regualr Yoplait has more sugar than one might think. I think, as you suggest, a more senseable diet, a certain degree of self control and common sense go a long way. :)

Yup, people typically eat one or two cups of Yoplait, but often drink 64 or more ounces of soda. You can partially thank 7-11 for that. But then who's more to blame, the pusher or the abuser? :)

I've been curious about how things got to the way they are ever since I looked up one day and suddenly, and shockingly realized that I was a minority (in a manner of speaking): adult, white male in America, a minority because I wasn't overweight. I did have hints, like finding it so dang hard to find pants that fit me in the adult men's section. :P ( ... )
