In my thesis can I say that since the photographer sees truth and beauty in things that are not obviously beautiful his act is one of love. Seeing God in all things, and loving them for that reason if none else.....

Since lives_withabear sees arrogance in things that are obviously not arrogant, his act is one of _______________. Fill in the blank.

It might be love that moves the photographer to document what he sees. The difficulty with arguing that idea is that photography has grown up as an art form in a time when we think of art as motivated by social responsibility. The practice of photography has largely been shaped by that assumption. Just look at the photos that have won the pulitzer prize.

Not that this would be an issue for the Trivium crowd.
