oooww!!!
this is VERY long:
so i got my sugery today. went to sleep at kirkie's around... 5? woke up at 720 to take a shower so i could disinfect with this nasty smelling soap the hospital gave me. >( got to the hospital around 815. surgery was scheduled for 1030. they told us to get there at 830 and mom over-estimated traffic. whatev. sign in, wait a bit, go to a different place, change (i looked like a person from an insane asylum, complete with blue and white striped robe), wait a bit more, then get caled back for prep. bye mom! had to lose the robe *tear* then climb into bed. insert iv. ouch!!!! put oxygen in my nose. it burns so bad they said they could wait. :) yay! get a "nerve blocker' shot, then wheel down to or. nerve shot guy asks me to touch his hand. lol my arm flails wildly. we laugh and he says that's just where i should be. yay!!! then anysthesia. the first thing i think when i wake up, which is right after they wheeled me thru or doors, is "kirk??" i think i was dreaming of him. they wheel me to recovery and are surprised that i am ready to go to a day room, instead of a hospital room, after 35 minutes. they expected 1.5-2 hours. lol i'm a balla, what can i say?? my arm was so numb from the shot that i couldn't even feel it. i look down an it's all iodiney-yellow. >( get wheeled to day room, i hear my mom coming down the halls and yay!!!! kirk is right behind her. we slyly exchange smiles and winks and air kissies. turns out whatever the doc thought was loose was right and he tightened everything up. they called in a prescription for some vikies and i went home. kirk went to his house to grab some movies and clothes.
the rest of my day has been in and out of sleep, watching tele with kirk, takin vikies every 3 hours so when the nerve shot wears off (which it's starting to do), i'll be a step ahead of the pain. we went to applebee's. that was fun and kirk, mom, megan, and i shared a chimi cheesecake. i think kirk creamed his pants. lol
we decided that since my sweetie has to work on easter, we'll celbrate tomorrow. :) it's gonna be so fun!!!!
i'm really pale. they compared me to the girl on kirk's "night of the living dead" shirt. lol.
we're gonna see if we can go to alamo up north to see ladykillers. mmm... movies. don't wanna push my arm, though. we'll see. :)
kirk's best friend wanted him to call to see how i was doing, and he was at polyester's. kirk said he wanted to go, but didn't want to leave me, but i amde him go anyway. they needed some boy's night out time. :) he should be home in a minute.
yesterday when i was taking megan home from gymnastics, i stopped by ashley's house. commence 2 hr random hang out time!!! i missed that girl so much!!! great times were had.
well, i'd better get back into bed before the vikies wear off. thanks everyone for all your support and love. i love you guys back!!!
