Washing Machine. When the appliance repair man arrived, he listened to the death throes of the machine and proclaimed that it sounded like the pump died. But to be sure he spent a little more time with it and ran a diagnostic.

Washing Machine. Saturday our washing machine began making strange noises. Ken’s best guess is that the pump has passed away.

This morning I rang Mike’s Appliances. They are sending a technician out this week to see if the machine can be resuscitated.

Please keep your fingers crossed for me that the cost will not make me cry.

The Yarn Sanctuary. I still have not done anything in the Yarn Sanctuary last week except take out yarn that I want to knit with and put a box of new yarn in there to be unpacked. Yes, I should be beaten with a wet strand of acrylic yarn. I will do better this week now that things have settled down. Don’t look at me like that! Really I will!

Last week we drove out to Donna’s to pick up some yarn. At least that is what I told Ken. “Honey, we have to go to Donna’s to pick up some yarn.”

Last weekend we met Hannah! Oh my goodness! She is such an adorable little doll. Of course we took pictures! She looked up and smiled at me. Notice that Hannah was born with two teeth. We just can’t get over that. Anyway, we may be biased but we think she is beautiful!

This week, I am hoping to do a little spinning. I only spun once last summer. I plan to do better than that. I have quite a bit of purple merino to finish spinning before I can move on to another fiber.
