Oh, I am so very terribly sorry for your loss, and at the same time so glad for the relatively fortunate circumstances you can cling to during this time of incredible, irreducible pain. I will be thinking of you and wishing you all the best as you deal with this.

Thank you for your thoughts. I'm glad the circumstances happened as they did - it was dignified and painless, and she wasn't alone. I think it hasn't really sunk in yet - that picture is only about 6 weeks old so it was not a long process.

thanks again, I appreciate it.

*hugs* I can see from the picture that she was a lovely, lovely lady. :) And you can tell that you're related. :)

._.

I am sorry. Having seen you write about her, and seeing this picture now, it's obvious you were close and there was a lot of love between you. That's just so sad.

*ineffectual but heartfelt internet hugs*

Irish song of mourning... I dunno, maybe it's not true of everybody, but music seems to be a good way to work through grief. Listen if you like. *more hugs*

thank you very much, I will listen to the song.

I think we were pretty close, even though she lived on the west coast and I didn't get to see her that often.

and hugs are always good. *hugs*
