You should read The Long Hard Road Out Of Hell, Marilyn Mansons autobiography. Its a really really good book, and it talks about some of this stuff. Like it offers a lot of points on why religion is a waste of time. Great book.

you see, people don't like to think that the occurences in their life are merely coincidence based on the fact that it makes the occurences sound completely insignificant. If fate chooses one's destiny, it adds to the situation and gives it a higher aspect. If one is able to make importance out of something by blaming it on fate, it eases the frustration or insignificance of the entire thing.

I do feel that some things are coinicidental, but it's much more comforting to think that things happen for a reason. It makes kids like me feel like we were actually meant to be born, rather than us being a coinicidence.

Yeah, but thats kind of the sad truth is that most everything is based on chance and coincidence. Every person was made out of a sperm and an egg, do you have any idea the odds of the sperm that makes it to the egg is the one you are? Your are one in millions. Also think of all the times guys masturbate, blowing a load of millions of tiny sperm into a kleenex. Arent you lucky you werent one of them? Isnt it just luck and chance that you werent? I know its gross to think about, but most of this post is about stuff that would make a lot of people pissed off/weirded out.

About life, I just don't understand how people can think that the world we live in is worth giving up so they can gain the attention of the world for 8 seconds on the evening news. Listen to Coldplay's Don't Panic. We live in a beautiful world, yeah we do, yeah we do.

All religion is a CROCK. I like what you said about nothing is set, nothing is fate. I beleive in fate. But i believe it is a fate that you can alter. And coikydinks*laughs*can alter fate as well.

loren it never fails to astound me how much we think alike. i hate saying that because then it sounds like i'm kyping (sp?) your ideas but hey.. while some things are a little different, but all of the above just seem obviously correct to me. i guess it just doesn't make sense to me why the rest of humanity can't see these things. but fuckit at the moment.. i'll be back later, the nazi force is coming... goodbye, cheers.
