I am certainly a pessimist.  There is no situation that I cannot see the negative side of.  See, even there I ended my sentence with a preposition.  Life sucks :)

I was just going to point that out...
And seeing the negative side of things isn't necessarily pessimism. If you see it before anything else, though, then yeah, it is. :D

nice. I love ending sentences with prepositions. When grammar check in word tells me it's wrong, I just hit "ignore all". :D
