Today's Canada Day.

My first response is to say "Canada sucks!" But that wouldn't be fair, and kind of a lie.

I think so. But I think the Queen's just an overseas figurehead. Pretty sure they have a Prime Minister instead. In which case, I have no idea. I could guess as kind as any Canadian I've ever met.

... Yeah, I am... not exactly the best representative of these kinds of thoughts. I come from New York City, where everyone's kind of pissed off all the time. Just different exposures to media and politics. Seems to do a world of difference between nations.

America's hat? Canada's bigger than America; that doesn't even make any sense! And the last two winters it's barely snowed at ALL. Which made for some pretty boring winters but still. Where did you even go, Northern Ontario?

Couldn't even tell ya. I was only there for a weekend, traveling with friends who didn't really care where they ended up.

And I happen to like the hat analogy. Makes me think of a little kid with a fedora that's twice his head size.

If you ever get the chance, it's really a sight to behold after a blizzard. I mean, it's difficult to travel through, but there are plenty of other ways to enjoy it.
