nope, what im talking about is part of the tuning peg on the head of the bass, the part where u wrap the string around

yea luckily i had an older bass i dont use and they use exactly the same one so i just swapped them out and it worked perfectly i was just surprised that can even happen, i've had this bass for years and I never imagined it happening
