it's been some time since i've realised there's a kind of loneliness that follows any leader - like peter pan's shadow. can't stand it, but can't do without it.

peter pan had a hard time getting his shadow back.. he was so irritated by it.

in any case, i was actually referring to a mentor/counselor from my church before. she passed away a couple days ago from a motor accident.

to cut a long story short, she was a real leader. even took a step back in her professional and 'church' career for her husband who needed time to develop his own career in the church.
