Can light only shine in the shadow of darkness? Are we such ingrates that we need a basis of comparison just to give reason to happiness? If you had the power to heal, and Satan was lying in a wasteland dying, suffering, would you heal his wounds?

It just occurred to me that even Jesus didn't try to do harm to Satan when he was being tempted. And ( Read more... )

i think this story forgets about free will. Humans chose to do good and bad, and they tempt each other as well. Humans sin- if we blame our sin on Satan, then they are excusing ourselves from our actions, which is purely bollocks ( ... )

but isn't that the point? it's just trying to be clever.. and that's what Satan does.. but we can't deny the biblical fact that Jesus didn't kill Satan when they met face to face... ?

i don't think that jesus could kill satan. he was fully man. he left it up to the father. because of 'the plan'.
