So it's been over a year since I've posted on here. I don't even know which of my friends still do this. I have some things on my mind that I guess I would like some advice on, but I'm not comfortable enough to put it on Facebook for the whole world to see. So I turn to you, my old LJ friends. boys and boy situations i think are the most epically confusing of life in general. its all i ever talk about with my friends anymore, besides the future, and its not a bad thing because its really the only way to gain more understanding/camaraderie

I think you've got something there when you said you get that butterfly feeling when you hold his hand. If that's still happening months, years into the relationship, that's a surefire sign that there's something more than infatuation. But there's no point in attempting a long-distance relationship when you're not even sure if you could keep a short-distance one going. I think you need to see each other and spend time together face to face before you can really decide anything. So for now, remember that you have someone like that, but don't dwell on him too much, because you might miss something right under your nose. If Puffy isn't the one, I'd hate to think you let the real one slip through your fingers while waiting.

Plus, flirting and casual dating, when you relax enough to let it happen, can be a huge stress-reliever. Don't you dare think of it as cheating.

I felt obligated to comment, partially because I've been trying to get back into the habit of blogging, partially because I'm in a relationship that seems to be consistently stable, and mostly because I like to hear myself talk. Or...see myself type. Something like that
