PS my anxiety isn't always about sex. I wrote the entire entry and realized some people don't want to admit to themselves that I have sex, so I put up the disclaimer. It actually started as a post about anxiety and insomnia, and turned into sex. I know I'm a weirdo.
What about the patch? Can they cause the same fibroid problems?
You know what's funny, One of my best friends is also allergic to latex AND has had a long, long history of fibroid tumors and cysts growing up.
A couple weeks ago she had to have emergency surgery to remove a portion of her cervix.
She takes the pill. Or did, when she was sexually active. I don't know that the hormones expounded on the existing problem, or it's just one of those things you'd be hard-pressed to prevent without restraining from sex at all.
She had ovarian problems before and after. So, you're guess is as good as mine.
If anything at all, you can go talk to a doctor. That way, any questions you have right then can be answered.
hooray for chewy!! you never talk to me any more chewster! lol, anywayz, yeah, actually, when I talked to a doctor about the birth control, she did say that estrogen could increase the growth, and she suggested if I DID use any form of birth control, I should use one with a low dose of estrogen.

Haha.
It HAS been awhile, hasn't it?
Well, I'm glad that you went and talked to a doctor.
Pulling out definitely isn't the safest choice by a long-shot.
Better safe than sorry.
Unexpected pregnancies and disease are no fun.
