Figuring It Out: My confused and ultimately unsuccessful analysis of House 7x03, "Moving On"

 I've been trying to figure out lately why the House finale bothred me so much.  Yes, it was asinine and stupid and short sighted and the shitty end to a lackluster season that was full of promise and empty of reward.  But there's more to that.  I don't understand how people could think that what happened in the finale was completely representative

i HATE that House royally fucked up their relationship. (reasons why I'm ignoring like all of season 7 *except for the naked bits ;D* and calling the season SIX finale the end of the bloody series) because you're right, and i hate that their relationship which used to be so fun and so playful and flirty has come to this.

I still stand by that I think House tried to kill her. SURE GY and DS can say oh, but he saw them leave but seriously? how can he have KNOWN that. He couldn't have seen Rachel. and the fact that he was willing to even take the chance to do this without knowing where Rachel was kills me a little inside. and if he didn't try to kill her, that is an extreme case of domestic violence right there. :/ and I honestly don't care about House anymore. I care about Cuddy and I WISH house and cuddy were still there but they're not. but i can't sympathize with him either. before if he did something stupid he always had a good and valid reason. but now i just HATE that he did it for like.. kicks

well, to be fair, they're right. he didn't try to kill her, but in DS's own words, he knew that it might be a consequence of his actions and didn't care. so, what's worse? wanting to kill someone, or wanting to hurt them so badly that you didn't care if it killed them in the process? i think the latter, actually, because killing is one thing but injuring gravely JUST to hurt them is entirely different. sadistic, even, one might venture.
