I think I have some sort of problem... Whenever I try to write a poem for anything whether it be for autobiography, which i need my tomorrow, or just for the heck of it, if I try to, I think it sounds good for like a few minutes and then when I read it over again it sounds a lot like a song... usually the one in my head at the time

well if something is really stuck in your head it may help to not try and block it but just write around it. branch off of it! then you get something that's not only fun to write but also pretty much original.

thanks for the suggestion. i'll try it out and see if it works sometime.
