My sister got officially married today. So happy for her. It was just a courthouse wedding for health insurance reasons, and they'll have the official BIG wedding next summer, but she is so excited and happy. Quietly happy, which is perfect. She's not blinded by the "marriage" glow. She knows who she wants to be with, and she is stoked.

My engagement ring stipulation is that I'd rather have a vacation. Haha. I agree on the bank account thing. I'm WAY too independent, and I always plan on making my own money, so yeah.

dude. all the way on separate bank accounts. I believe in contributing to a joint account for joint purchases, but seriously, you need to maintain some financial independence.
