Bush was confused. He didn't nominate her because she is a conservative evangelical.

He nominated her because she is a woman.

if the white house acts like it didn't happen, the media will turn it's head. this is not new.

if the media picks up this kind of thing, the print media loses readership and TV news loses viewership for being anti-Republican/pro-Democrat. double standard.

i know this is nothing new. but i literally laughed out loud when i read this on cnn.com. its just such a ridiculous example.
