I don't think you have to, but it is a good way of learning how to cope with your personal love life with the capacity of everday life.

i could be totally off with this BUT... fluticious June 24 2006, 03:54:25 UTC
never LOOK for love because love just happens when it's meant to be. like the old saying goes, "better to have loved than to never love at all" or something like that. basically, if heart break happens, then it happens, but there is no point in forcing yourself out of something that feels like it could be right. every serious relationship that i have been in occurred right after i declared "IM STAYING SINGLE IM NOT LOOKIN AND I DONT WANT ANYBODY!" stage. as soon as i shut out the idea of looking, a guy would come around, and i would try to fight it, but like jimmy brinkman once told me "you cant fight love"

and im rambling now. all i wanted to say was that not all break ups are the worst possible things (especially if the relationship is short lived) and that you'll never know unless you go for it. and who's to say that it cant carry throughout graduate school, etc?
