Can you answer a few questions about the cooking facilies at your cottage? Mainly, is there an oven? Running water? Refrigeration?

I'm planning to bring things that I can bake fresh, so let me know because I'll have to bake them tonight if I can't bake them there.

Thanks!

The cottage is open concept with a full kitchen - fridge, stove, cooking stuf... but it is smallish, and the fridge (every time I have been there) usually has lots of stuff in it...

I am planning on bringing 2 doz eggs and 5 cuts of steak (any preference for cut?) for dinner.

Cottaging weekend... bastdanica September 30 2005, 04:00:45 UTC
Issues with cottage: The power is out (high winds around the city today knocked out power at the cottage and 1/2 way around the lake).... several things likely to happen...

1 - Power is back up before you leave montreal and all goes as planned. (We should know by 3:00 what's the story)
2 - you guys come here to our house (meet cat and dog) and overnight friday night, then we head up saturday afternoon if the power is up by then, otherwise, spend the weekend at our lovely little house.
3 - nothing at all.. stay home.. (not an option in my books...) :) Hobbes was telling me about your scones or something you really like making... I've been thinking about them all week. :)

Our stove/oven works just fine at our house, so, if we end up here all weekend, so be it... it's a pretty city in the fall, and there's always a walk around the Gatineau Hills Sunday afternoon...

See you guys tomorrow!! :)
