Wisdom Tooth

A bad mood + having a tooth removed doesn't bode well for the enjoyment of my evening.

Edit: Ok, so it wasn't as bad as I thought it might be (although, having said that, the anaesthetic hasn't worn off yet). Biting on this gauze in my mouth to stop the bleeding is annoying though.

You can prolly stop with the biting lol. After the first hour or so the clot is mostly good, doesn't matter if it was a surgical or not. :)

Only had the gauze for 30 mins or so. It's out now and seems not to be bleeding much.

Good good. Did they put you on anti-inflams? If not, have an ibuprofen if you want to ward off pain (as long as you're not allergic to aspirin).

I have paracetamol but I think I'll send jm-horse out for some ibuprofen.

I thought ibuprofen had the same affect on clotting that aspirin had, but the dentist seemed to think not.

My dentist just said whatever painkillers worked for me and that none would be majorly adverse to the healing process.

I also got a prescription for some really powerful painkillers but never uses them. I think thats because I kept ice packs on it to keep the swelling down the entire time.

Hope you recover quickly!
