Right as this moment, I feel so very alone.
Adam has left, I have no idea when he left but all of his stuff was gone when I got home several days ago. No key, no gas and electric payment, no car, no Adam. I tried calling but he didn't answer. I assume if I reach him, he'll be glad to give back the key and pay for the utilities, unless he for some reason gave the key to Lisa the landlord. That'd be really annoying considering I paid for that key.
I'd give the key to Chris, so a neighbor would have it (assuming he moves somewhere close) and so if I'm giving him a ride, he comes over, and I'm upstairs getting ready, he doesn't have to wait on the doorstep. That's been the plan for a while. I didn't want to give him one while Adam was living there because Adam might find it awkward if Chris randomly let himself in. Chris has a new roommate, I can't remember her name though. It's not someone he talked about very much before. She has two cats, which is good on her, and they are looking for a place on Belmont / in Sunnyside because she really likes the neighborhood, but they can't have two people and two cats in his current one bedroom. Chris was busy when I called to see if he wanted to join Eva and me for brunch, I think he had brunch plans with Lena. Between househunting and and all he's been quite busy.
Eliah and Kara aren't back yet, they are going to North Carolina until the 22nd and 23rd, or something like that. So they'll be back in a little over a week. I miss them a lot, and I wonder what it's going to be like to have them back. Hopefully I'll get a schedule change soon that will allow me to spend more time with them then previously. But they have to get back first.
Eva's had training all weekend. It's kind of funny how much I miss her. She somewhat surprisingly had some time off this afternoon, so she snuck over and we went out for breakfast. Unfortunately, she was stuffed up, so she was unhappy and uncomfortable on one side of the scale. She was happy to see me, so that put some weight on the other side of the scale, but in sum she still seemed pretty miserable. Originally she wasn't going to be able to see me until after work, probably, but now she says it's unlikely she'll see me then, since she has training at 8am Monday and really needs to sleep. She's really gorgeous, her hair is quite curly again and her freckles have spread darkly across her face, her training this weekend involved a lot of time in the sun. It was achingly hard to let her go back to school, but I had to go to work and so did she.
And I miss my family.
In other news, Mary (
http://junkriot.comicgen.com ) a webcomic artist I know from the comicgen forums drew a really sexy picture of Eva (or as I call her on the forums, Lady Toad). Now Mary is in love with the picture, apparently, and uses it as her desktop and stares at Eva's cleavage all day. Mary is compiling a book of pin-up style drawings that she has done, and she wants to use that pic as the back cover. She emailed me about it, and I forwarded the email to Eva. It'd be yet another place Eva was published, though not quite the same. Personally if I was Eva I'd ask for 1% of the profits. Not that it would be much, especially when you consider the fact that I'd buy the book, so even at 50% markup, it'd have to sell 200 copies for Eva to make as much as I spent on it.
