I've been watching too much football since the World Cup started last week. This affair with the sport that's as popular as oxygen (at least in Europe, Africa and Latin America) started in High School when I couldn't get the end of hearing names like Pele and Diego Maradona. i want Mexico, Korea, Portugal to be in the semis....
but i think it will be Germany, Mexico, France and Brazil....

Yup. Mexico and Portugal are mighty teams. They could reach that far. But I still maintain Brazil and France for the one-two slots. The third could be a free for all..

omg. world cup is huge here in hk. pubs have world cup all nighters. huge 100-in screens, happy hour throughout, free drinks for girls, etc... ang saya!

my favorite teams are spain and argentina.

Spain is doing good and Argentina, the land of Diego Maradona, could be brought over to the later rounds. Them Latin countries are the lords of the ball. They should be fun to watch.
