Yeah, I didn't think the con was so bad once I got in, but the hour and a half registration was too much; plus they were charging for programs. What the hell was that about? It would have been preferable if they had organized it better. I got some really good deals on DVDs and stuff, so I was satisfied overall though.

Paying for the programs should have been an ominous sign.

I suppose I got lucky and registered a three-day pass on Friday and only had to wait for about 30 min. I agree, the dealers room was okay, but when I got to talking to folks there alot of them weren't pleased with the way it was being run. There even a few people who claimed they didn't get the compensation (money and room) they were promised for helping the con.

Heck at one point security was telling everyone in artist alley to shutdown because of the concert only to have one of the organizers run around telling everyone that no the alley wasn't getting shut down to which another security guy follows him up a few minutes later saying nope, we're shutting you down. Ugh. After that I just gave up and went home.

Too bad I didn't run into you there, I was bored out of my skull waiting for the artists to finish some commissions for me.
