Help needed!

Right does anyone know if you are allowed to register a domain name even if you haven't started up your business yet?

Basically I have plans to run my own cafe in the future and I've found the right name and it is available. I really want this name and I don't want it to be swiped up by anybody else in the near future. I've tired researching this ( Read more... )

If it's available, buy the domain name.
I have for my DJ name that I wanted with the intention of doing something ....soonish.
It's safe for 2 years then & you'll get the 1st refusal when it's up as I understanding it.
It's not illegal to own it now without the business.
That's why there are domain name companies that buy up all the names people want & then sell them on as a massive mark up.

Ah right, brilliant! Thanks for the info thats really helped me out. I'm looking to start up next year and the name is important to me so I guess it's best to register it ASAP.
