[ Terry didn't speak, swallowing hard to try and fight back the tears welling up in his eyes. The hand on his shoulder would be able to feel his trembling body. It was so hard... so hard to forget what happened that night. And how, even now, he felt guilty for it. If only he'd been there... If only he hadn't fought with his dad. ]

[What he saw must've really had him scared by how he was shaking. Like what he did for her earlier, she did the same and tried to give him a hug. It was just hard to word something like this...]
