So I apparently have an infection in my heart, most likely called pericarditis. It's mostly caused my a dull pain in my chest, particularly when I lay down. At first it was a very sharp pain, and I freaked out thinking I was having a heart attack. Spent about 6.5 hours in the ER Monday night. I was hooked up to oxygen and a heart monitor. I should make a full recovery in about eight to 14 days. I'm on some kind of enzyme blocker to kill the pain, but I guess it's a virus so there's not much else they can do for me. Unfortunately, now that I got it it's easier to get it again. Other than that it's just a pain in my ass ... I mean chest.
