For the final day of Movie Month, I'm listing my choices for top ten examples of film-makers making films about films and the making of films. ( Read more... )
I have not seen one of these films although I do own Ed Wood. Perhaps it is time that I watched it. This list that you have been doing BB has been very interesting.
The only one of these that I own is "Purple Rose of Cairo". I got it because one of my kids had to analysis it for school, I haven't really watched it myself. If you think it's good I'll give it a go.
I've seen (and enjoyed)half of these and am adding the other half to my list. We have similar movie taste,(eclectic) and I have never regretted following your advice. BTW, Watched Xiu Xiu-The Sent Down Girl last night. Totally worth our time. I've really appreciated these daily movie recommends and am sorry the month is over (for a lot of reasons! Time is going just too fast.) Thanks so much for the thoughtful addition each day.
I miss Stuntman in that lineup, and I probably would have put it in the top five. (probably because I have no actual business making a list of films at all.) ;-)
