DAN'S TOP TEN MOVIES OF THE YEAR EXTRAVAGANZA!

Well everyone.....it's the end of 2006. Bit of an up and down year personally, but let's just say that it was the best year for movies in YEARS. Which was fantastic. Best year for film since the wonderful year that was 1999 hands down. No contest. I was very happy and coming up with my top ten movies of the year was actually pretty difficult

You have an impressive list of 5 films and these are mine :

1] The Fountain and I wholly agree with all you say and not only that I think thaHugh Jackman should be at least nominated for an Oscara his performance is the very wessence of his soul

2] The Prestige I loed this film - had me on the edge of my seat and the interplay between HughJackman and Christian Bale was top class but I think Hugh had the edge on the acting because he had much more to do with his character and cameos as well

3] I thought Happy Feet was one of the greatest animated films we have had for many years and it gave Casino Royale a run for its money too.

4] Casino Royale was a good film plenty of action, explosions,shooting, blood and Bond jumping around all over the place. But this is an ordinary every day action film that we have seen before and we have now lost BOND. There is so much more they could have done with it

Well selection 4] was on then next post and being a bit daft and sleepy I missed out number 5

5] POTC but Johnny Depp is getting to OTT and I really do not think I wish to see another but it sure made the bucks
