I'm really sorry. Our rat Bear has a cyst right now and we're trying to figure out our plan of action. He's so old that general anesthesia isn't a safe option for him but right now he has this gross thing the size of a grape hanging off of his side. :(

Aw, I'm sorry. It's a shitty situation to be in. I know animals understand more than a lot of people think, but situations like this make me wish I could explain things to them and they would understand exactly why we're doing the things we're doing.
