Last week, my seniors were reviewing for a test.  One kid, who apparently can not control himself, got into my closet and took out a yardstick.  He then sat at his desk and put the yardstick between his legs.  When asked why he thought he was allowed to go through my closet and take my yardstick, he replied, "I'm measuring myself!" Buying a house is confusing, and stressful!  It seemed for a while like we wouldn't get enough of a loan to buy anything (and houses here are CHEAP!), but now we for sure have enough money to get a house we want, in the area we want.  We've even narrowed it down, and think we know which house we're going to bid on ( Read more... )

But Eric and I are looking to buy a house!  We're in the process of doing the paperwork  and all that, but I'm trying not to get too excited and carried away until I am sure that this will work out.

We're meeting with the banker and the realtor later this week, so far things are all looking like they'll work out.  We'll see....

Eric and I tried geocaching today.  It is so fun.  We're not very good yet (we found only one of the four we looked for), but I think it's addicting.  I feel like a secret agent when I do it.  My favorite part so far is that you have to hide your activities from non-cachers, who are referred to as "muggles."  So when they walk by, you have to look ( Read more... )

Roger is getting better!  He's had so many problems for the last 6-8 months or so.  And my vet, who I really liked, kept giving me homeopathic medicines, which I liked because Roger is old and rabbits have sensitive systems.  But it got to the point where we were going to the vet almost every week and getting a new medicine each time.  He was on 7 ( Read more... )
