New Furniture....

Here are a few photos of my new furniture. I bought the two chairs and sofa at Jordan's, the marble top table and the drop leaf table at a couple of antique/consignment stores in the area...

Thanks. I think I'll be spending an equal amount of money on lint rollers to deal with cat hair......

Thankfully, my vacuum has an attachment called a Power Mate Jr., which is a miniature version of a rug cleaning attachment and it's made especially for furniture. I just used it to see how it works and it cleaned up all the cat hair perfectly.....

Only thing missing is a fireplace, which I wish I had. It's nice to have the room finally furnished....

Yes! That would complete the room, but it does look great as it. You could always get one of those "fake" fire places. They've come a long way and look a lot better than the fake one's from the 70's, but they are still fake. A real fire place is always best.

I am planning on getting a wood pellet stove installed in the room and that will give off the fireplace vibe and actually heat the room better....

Yeah, I was looking for something new, but had a country style feel to it. Picked these out right away....

The cats are going to LOVE those chairs :) and in the end, isn't it really all for them....

Apparently so, yes. Fortunately, I can shut the room off when I'm out of the house and I plan on getting a Super Soaker for when I'm home...
