fyi. surgery still on for monday. sometime in the afternoon.

Well, UNLESS there is yet another last minute insurance denial. yes, i am going to be traumatised for the rest of my life for the first two denials this past week. and you should be too, because emergency surgery is supposed to be covered no matter where you get sent.

Monday is definite for the surgery, most probably in the afternoon as I have an eyedoctor appointment in the am to assess eye usage and a possible aneurysm (probably from all of us losing our collective shit at the first big hospital admin back on wednesday, the 14th ( Read more... )

so i am sitting in a bed in a hospital with a neurosurgeon. but i cannot be operated on here because the hospital is out of network.
so i have been sitting here waiting on a fucking bed in another hospital. how long is this going to take? hours? days?
