Action Post - Inside the Inn

Ryan is sitting inside the Three Broomsticks, drinking a butterbeer and passing a good time. He is dressed much less formally than he was yesterday, and he has a couple of bags near him on the floor. He looks fairly happy, although the table is pretty much empty but for him.

Dang, now this is a pretty okay way to spend the rest of the trip.

Rikku was poking around the stores, biting on a sugar quill while doing so. Her attire was pretty casual as well: khaki shorts with an orange T-shirt.

She was heading past the Three Broomsticks, when she noticed a boy sitting at an empty table. Rikku recognized him as being a Hufflepuff (she'd seen him around the Common Room before, though never really talked to him much). So, she decided to change that. Rikku bounced up to Ryan and smiled.

"Hey, you're Ryan, right?"

Ryan looked up from his drink with a bit of a start. He wasn't expecting to have company, but he wasn't going to complain about it, either. He was pretty sure he had seen the girl before him, probably spoken with her once or twice, but he was having a bit of trouble recalling her name and felt king of guilty that she knew his.

"Yep!" Ryan said, smiling back. "I hate askin' this, 'cause I know I've seen you around before in the castle, but what's your name?"

Rikku dragged the chair out next to his and sat down. She hadn't realized how much her feet were killing her until just now.

"Nah, don't worry about it-m'names Rikku." She dug deep down into her pocket and pulled out a package of sugar quills, holding it out for him to take one.

"Well, I know I don't do a good job keepin' up with fellers' names all the time but it's good meetin' you, Rikku." Ryan said. "And I guess it ain't too late for gettin' better at it, right?"

Ryan smiled a bit more. He wasn't sure how he kept forgetting his housemates, especially one as friendly as Rikku seemed to be, but that was what things like the Hogsmeade trip were for. And it always better having someone else to drink with than spending time sitting alone in the Inn.

"Dang, now that is an offer I can get behind." Ryan said, gratefully accepting a sugar quill as he fingered the money he had left in his pocket. "Are you thirsty? I got a bit of scratch for buyin' drinks."

Souji's in the inn, carrying a butterbeer of his own, mostly looking for a place to sit. He's still wearing his uniform, although hardly as neatly as he usually does. The first three buttons of the shirt are unbuttoned, and the shirt's not tucked in. He happens to spot Ryan. He recognises him, but is not sure he knows who he is. He decides to approach him nevertheless.

"Hey. You're... Ryan, right?"

"Yeah, man!" Ryan said, smiling at Souji. He had only spoken to the boy once before, and he wasn't sure he remembered him very well, but he was always looking for company. "I think we're both Hufflepuffs, aren't we? I know we've spoken before, but I can't seem to remember you. Sorry 'bout that, I get some problems with faces. every now and then."

He chuckled. "Don't worry about that, I wasn't sure I knew who you were either. We only really spoke once, didn't we? I'm Souji."

"Well hell, we're housemates so it ain't like we don't have more chances for talkin', right? It's nice meetin' you, Souji!"

Ryan looked at the seats around him before looking back at Souji. "Man it can't be good just carryin' that butterbeer around. I got seats 'round me if you're lookin' for a place to sit down."
