The first time I learnt of Castiel's character was through fic. At that point of time I was skeptical, but I've been converted! I haven't watched a full season of SPN, I mostly watch online whichever episode sounds interesting. Season 4 Ep 1 was what turned me to Dean/Cas - the angel's entrance was EPIC.
