I saw it last night, at the traditional midnight showing. I've gone to every midnight showing except for the first movie, and even then I saw it opening weekend

Slughorn was SO different in my head. When he was the chair, I translated that overstuffed, plump image to his actual person. The actor did a great job of playing him, but I would just have like to seen him more plump and overstuffed.
And I'm such a sap that I liked the happy ending. After everything they've gone through for 7 years, they deserve the rest of their lives to be happy and peaceful.
I still need to see the movie, but I thought I'd chime in about the books.
I'm really fine with a happy ending...I just thought that the way it was written was very "Deux ex machina", and showed a lack of creativity compared to some of the other writing throughout the series (especially the end of Halfblood prince, and the unexpected events that lead up to it that you don't learn about til later).
