i really like this. do you remember the name of the author james mentioned? the one whose poem the workshop prompt was based off of?
also, after the meeting, i was talking to dyanna about mlk and how i wanted to perform, and she suggested that i talk to you and hazel and dalia since you guys are doing a piece for MLK. i've never attempted writing an actual group piece with anyone. the closest thing to that was when genny lim facilitated that workshop during summer camp and she had us juxtapose our pieces together and perform them for the group.
i just wanted to see if you were open to the idea of me working with you 3 but if not, it's cool. just wanted to put that out there and see what you thought...
