I am quite sure that most people have probably read these but if you havent then I would reccomend a few.

Anything by Chuck Palahniuk, mainly Diary and Fight Club.

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is always a fun read.

Any of the "Incarnations of Immortality" series by Piers Anthony. They put the "incarnations" of Death, Time, War, Fate, Nature, Good, and Evil as actual jobs filled by average people. Very good books.

Sadly that is all I can think of at the moment. Hope some of them strike insperation.

Not bad. Working a bit over the summer so I can get a new computer and pay for my return to college in the fall. And how about you?
This probably sounds rude but who is this again? I was looking at my friends page and saw that you had added me as a friend but I hadn't added you so I went ahead and did so. Still, for the life of me I can not recall....

Definatly look into the series, start with On a Pale Horse (about death obviously) and if you like that one the rest all follow the same style

I don't know how much you like fantasy, but I've been getting into Neil Gaiman--he's an amazing author. I just read American Gods, which was excellent.
