Have you tried food stamps yet? Say what you will, but they fucking rock. I don't have to steal as much anymore and you can usually get them the same day you go into the office.

food stamps.. what office would one go to for these?

Try the Department of Human Services. In most cases, you can have stamps the same day you go in. Unfortunately, the office will probably be in a very remote location of town and it will take several hours, which is a great way of discouraging poor people who may not have cars and who can't take off work from showing up to receive services. Your caseworker will probably be an asshole too. Have fun.

I'm glad to hear you found a place for the summer. I'm looking for a place starting in July/August... that is when I will be back, and back for good. I hope youre making lots of nice friends. I'm gonna put together a nice little package of food and candy and fun stuff, I'll send it by the end of the week.
