okay first off, the title = utterly brilliant choice to use. GIVE ME YOUR ABILITY TO COME UP WITH UNIQUE AND FITTING TITLES, because I sure as hell can't. :'|
second of all, bawwwwww. ;____; I've always toyed with a headcanon for Koga and Janine (because I don't have enough of them already, sob) that their relationship was more like the relations Professor Oak and Green-- cold and sort of a onesided love-- have in the games, and this pretty much exemplifies that idea. I love how you made Janine pretty on the outside looking in, when she sees all these closeknit and happy relationships in others, and I think using Silver as a comparison was an ingenious decision, because they're so much alike in the regards that people are always leaving them behind in their shadows.
This is awesome and you should feel awesome, amazing, flawless, etc., etc. ;3; now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go work on all 7546587 bazillion drabbles I just asked to take on. |DD
th-thank you darling &hearts your comments always warm the cockles of my heart~
and lol @ the title for this one i was like "oh hey, both of them are struggling to free themselves from the shadows of their fathers", so i slapped "shadow" into the thesaurus and lo and behold, it comes up with "penumbra" xD INSTA-TITLE
Aww, poor Janine. ;; Koga, quit being suck a dick and show some love, gawd. My headcanon has Koga be all "Janine, you may not amount to anything ever, but I'll somewhat love you." Like, behind all the snarky comments there's some love in it. But gah, I love your headcanon, too, with Janine wanting some sort of affection from her rather cold father. Poor girl needs a hug, desperately.
asd;foier why do I not leave you more comments. I need to leave you more comments, bb.
This was really touching. You have so many gorgeous images in here-your descriptive powers are just phenomenal and I can't even pick which images were my favorite because there were just too many. You imbue even tiny things with meaning. And the outsider looking in position that she has on everything is really gorgeous, and I like how you took a different spin on Koga+Janine here! I do wonder, though-why did you keep mentioning Mt. Silver? I tried to figure out what it symbolized and I couldn't think of anything.
Silver slowly tracking everyone down, one by one, was awesome, and I was really cheering for him too (just like Janine was). You really made me empathize with everyone here. I love everything you write ♥!
