I actually spoke to it, I said "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!?" and then I thought "shit, I'm a crazy person" and then I realized that I'm home alone so it probably doesn't matter because no one would have heard me, and THEN I realized that maybe it's worse that I talk to my computer when no one is home.

well see, the fact that no one is home is negated by the fact that you just shared that information with me!

I donno if that makes you crazy or not though...maybe the fact that you were willing to tell me that proves that you are in fact not crazy but just upset with your posessed cd drive.

try kicking it...that always works ;-)

WHAT DO YOU THINK I AM!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!

No, I just read some funny tech support stories today! About people who spilled water on their computers so they put them in the oven to dry and whatnot. ahahaha.

You know, I don't know if it's possible anymore, but there used to be this program called netbus that you could install on other people's computers, like a virus, and then you could sit at your own computer and click buttons to make their cd tray open and close and fuck with everything, just like that.

I've never heard of anything else that would make your cd tray open and close, though...

I looked for those things, but I couldn't find anything :\

WTF DUDE Also today at theatre I was doing sound and I had to switch CDs really quick and so I tried to open the CD tray and then it wouldn't open for like 14 seconds, and then it opened, and then it closed before I could put in the CD, and then it opened again, and I was like SHIT I AM HAUNTED.

wow. you are. HAUNTED BY CD TRAYS! new from Stephen King.

Although, you know, if you were like "augh omg i need you to open!" and tapping the button a lot, it might have just had a bunch of button-presses to work through and it thought you wanted to open and close and open the tray. or something.
