Cause in my head there's a greyhound station
Where I send my thoughts to far off destinations
So they may have a chance of finding a place
where they're far more suited than here

So, I spent last night in the hospital, having my stomach pumped out. Food poisoning is the bomb. I even got to ride in the ambulance. I doubt I'm going to classes tomorrow.

My mom and dad got bitched out by a total stranger, in a letter they got in the mail, telling them that our basketball net was too torn up, and was an embarrassment to the neighborhood.

For the past week or so, I've had an African American Methodist choir in my head. They follow me around singing "This Little Light of Mine," almost non-stop. I'm not sure where they came from, or if they plan on leaving soon. I'm enjoying their company.

Being a good parent is about more than just providing food, clothing, and shelter for your child. It is about more than socializing them into a community and sending them to school.
