I have a cold and a hacking cough, but things have actually been going pretty well with a few minor exceptions as usual. I shouldn't dwell on the bad all of the time

That sucks about Bill. I feel for him being that I suffer from IBS and have 3-4 flare ups a year, 2 which landed me in the hospital for a week. Got so bad once last year that garrett had to SPOON feed me as I was too weak to lift a soon. I hope he gets better soon.

The holidays are a beautiful time, yet this is the first winter I am alone. My lover has left for a better place and although we are still together, I need him to remind me the sun was still shining even though i cannot see it. I plan on doing all the wonderful winter activities that keep my heart warm and my feet frozen, but it will be difficult as a solitary soul and no one forcing their hand into my mitten because he was too stubborn to bring gloves. I hope that your winter is filled with happiness and cuddling on the couch watching a twenty-four hour marathon of A Christmas Story on TBS.
