I took off for the beach after I got unfrozen, and got attacked by... somebody. I swear every instinct was telling me it was a woman but 'they' swore I was wrong about that. Whatever.

They said they were... interested in Dani. Wanted to break her. Like hell I was gonna stand for that. But I was still in that godforsaken dress and didn't even have a gun on me. I... still tried to fight, though. Even tried to offer myself as a trade. Didn't take. Next thing I know I'm on the ground with pieces of wood in my leg and a shattered femur and my partner's vanished. And then the bitch stabs me with a sword.

Dani showed up and... I'unno... they had it out... I can't remember much after that. Just waking up in the hospital, without her around, and Finn just... gone...
