Dr. Kristin Velasco at Bethany Family Pet Clinic is very good. She keeps herself well informed and knows when to refer cases to specialists. I would trust her in your pugs care. She is also the vet to both of my cats. I also work for BFPC, so I know the "behind the scenes" is top notch as well.

Hi,

Where are you trying to get blood from? I have a friend who is a vet (although not in your area) and I could ask questions for you. (I've friended you.. hope you don't mind... :))

Don't mind at all. Thanks for letting me know you added me. :)

I've been able to test his blood since. The vet had me poking his ear and he hated it plus if I didn't get the right area, it wouldn't bleed enough or he'd yank his head and the blood would smear. It was a holy nightmare. A friend suggested another area and it's worked much better.

If your friend knows anything about feeding a food diet and proportions, I'd love some help with that. I want to make sure Sab is getting enough food but not too much. :)
