Squishy Batman!
I knew Batman was different in the Silver age.
But I've read so much of ol' dark and broody that I never really realized just HOW different Batman's become.
Then I stumbled across these lovely little pages from Detective 474.
The text box on the top of the next page actually mentions them LAUGHING.
He's so adorably squishable! and he's got a functional relationship with Dick! And he actually tosses banter BACK!
...this is what we've been missing all these years. Dark and broody's great... but I wish we got to see more of this Bruce (and Dick.)
